break?
Ok. So…envisiged mid term break…relaxing..chilling with my mates…few days at work to get the cash up.sleeping in.
Or not.
So…got up this morning…rode my bike to work. Not a good idea. Can’t sit now. Plus have mild concussion from running into tree and cut on leg from pants getting sucked into wheelchain thingie. Got home after work (didn’t drop anything today!!) And thought that I might do my Legal Citation exercise…seeing as up until last Wednesday I thought it was teh same thing as the Library one…ahem..So I did it…it only took about 4 hours. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. Sigh. I have like..an epic headache. But on the plus side, I’m finding my 142 assignment amazingly fascinating…no seriously…the info I’m reading through really gives me insight into an interesting world!. I’m excited about Law. Whilst reading cases etc is not the most fun and I disagree throroughly with the lecturer who said that if we didn’t like reading it we should go home…because finding it fun, eing educated and being interested are all VERY different things. I am finiding it a bit difficult to go to the law lectures…Just because mostly…they are the same as whats on the slides etc. I go..but I must admit I did catch a few winks until my good mate elbowed me into awakeness. So glad I’m getting a chance to sleep in a bit and relax etc…and watch a bit of Biggest Loser…sad…but true. However; uni is interesting…I like my subjects, although they are a bit hard..and it scares me when people ask what I’m doing..and as soon as they hear law they laugh and go “haha Good Luck”. On a nice note, I had a good weekend and witnessed the birth of some kittens! it was amazing! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Be glad to talk to you all soon! We need to have a law student get together!

4 hours doesn’t seem to bad since other people have done it in 3-4. I am trying to do it but I keep skipping questions since the information isn’t in our legal citation guide and I can’t seem to find it in the AGLC. It is really annoying me. I hate things like this. Like there is a question about putting a pin point reference in the body of the text. Why would you even need to do that considering the pinpoint reference goes in the footnote anyway.
Oh well I will keep trying to do it and hope for the best.

I envy you, you are in the ‘zone’. Help me get in the ‘zone’ for that 142 assignment, I beg you. I’ve been note-taking like mad and have pretty much decided on my angle … just need to physically begin (emphasis on begin) a draft. So yes, make me aware of where to grab a hold of, and permanently maintain, this ‘zone’, thanks.
I still haven’t started the legal citation exercise.. am I in trouble.
